We had less time to get a Gwendolyn tree planted in the same year she was born than we did with Jameson. These past few months have flown by and all of a sudden we realized that we needed to get on the ball and get it planted before the ground froze. So, we called on Brady to get his input on which tree would be best for our little peanut. He looked around town at some nurseries for us and we all decided that an Eastern Redbud Tree would be perfect for Miss Gwendolyn. He came and planted it on Tuesday, November 26 while it was still somewhat warm out and I cannot wait to see it in the Spring! The idea with Jameson was to take his picture in front of his tree each year and we kind of dropped the ball on that, so maybe we will do an every few years thing! But, I love that we have these symbols for both our babies - no matter where we go (if we ever do), a piece of them will always remain in their first house!
